Writer, Producer, Director, and Performer

Believe, a children’s live action short film, 29:00. Wrote, directed, and produced. Screened at San Francisco Bay Area International Film Festival, 11th Annual East Lansing Children’s Film Festival, Detroit-Windsor International Film Festival, and Spud Fest Film and Television Festival (Idaho). “Believe” is the suspenseful story of Isabel, a nine-year-old tomboy, who, after her last tooth falls out, isn’t ready to give up fairies or childhood so easily. One reason I’m proud of the film is because the actors and the music composers/performers are all talented children from St. Louis Park, Minnesota. 2008.

ArtWatch, a monthly arts video cable program. Created, directed, and produced five programs up to 60 minutes each. Included training and mentoring a crew of 12 junior high students in program development, technical production skills, and interview skills. Selected content, coordinated guests, and conducted interviews. Directed planning, technical production, and edited program for final broadcast. Wrote original scripts. Partnered with school district administration and technical staff. Featured 45 individual student artists, 18 influential adults, and five school classes. When city and school district renewed cable broadcasting agreement, program was featured as evidence of top quality community programming involving youth and the local community. 2004.
