Believe
A short live action film for children. Running time 29:10.

Isabel knows that the tooth fairy is Mom and Dad, but she’s not giving up so easily on real fairies. Who is the mysterious visitor who steals the candy she leaves out every night? A raccoon? And as if there wasn’t enough on her mind, her mother signed her up for Star Camp. However, classes like Pageant Poise and Cheerleading Spirit are not how Isabel wants to spend her summer. Her mother won’t listen to her protests, and her brother can’t help.
It seems there’s nothing she can do.

—or is there?

Over the summer and fall of 2007 I completed writing, directing, and producing a children’s independent film called "Believe." It is the suspenseful story of Isabel, a nine-year-old tomboy, who, after her last tooth falls out, isn’t ready to give up fairies or childhood so easily. One reason that I’m proud of the film is because the actors and the music composers/performers are all talented children from St. Louis Park.
